Upcoming workshops
Our next session is on Wednesday 12th November 10am-12pm at Snodland Family Hub.
In this Workshop, we will take a deep dive into how to create a positive support system, navigating the school system including emotional based school avoidance (EBSA), and how to get the right professional for your situation.
Accept, Adapt, Advocate is on Wednesday 12th November at Snodland Family Hub. This session will be in an interactive psychoeducation format where we aim to give you the tools you need to be heard and for your voice to make a difference. Too often parents of neurodivergent children leave meetings feeling like nothing is going to change. We want to give you more confidence to advocate louder.
Have you ever felt like your parent friends just ‘don’t get it’? When you explain a behaviour your child has displayed is the reply ‘but they all do that don’t they!’?
Have you ever felt like you can’t quite get the school to listen and put accomodations in place, or been told you child is ‘fine in school’?
Have you ever been referred to the wrong provider, only to have to start all over again on a new waiting list?
We encourage you to book quickly to secure your place at our next event as we have a limited number of places. We will be operating a waiting list so that as many as people as possible get the opportunity.
