Neurodiversity UK, a new social enterprise based in Brighton, is thrilled to announce its launch with a neurodiversity picnic at Preston Park, Brighton, on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 1 PM. This event marks the beginning of a project dedicated to uniting and empowering the neurodiverse community across the UK.
Founded by Jack Norwood and Martin Bunker, who have extensive experience in neurodiversity advocacy through their involvement with the charity ADHD Aware, Neurodiversity UK aims to create a supportive and connected community. Their mission includes providing a nationwide directory of neurodiverse events, supporting peer support groups, and offering specialized support and coaching services.

Event Details
Join us for an afternoon of fun and celebration with the neurodiverse community. The picnic is open to neurodiverse adults and families. We will provide a gazebo with snacks, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own refreshments and food. No RSVP is required; just turn up and enjoy the company of fellow neurodiverse individuals.
Location and Accessibility
For those traveling by public transport, the number 5 bus and trains to Preston Park station provide convenient options. If driving, there are parking areas at the north and south ends of the park, accessible from Preston Drove or the junction between Preston Road and Preston Park Avenue.
